How to make Vietnamese noodles without any fake flavours in 15 minutes

DSC_0106 (2).JPG

I had Vietnamese noodles “beef pho” for dinner tonight. Normally I use beef or chicken stock to make this soup, but this time I used my new product, “SAORI 100% Natural Japanese Dashi stock“, to make it more nutritious (check my other article – super food Shiitake mushrooms) and completely naturally flavoured. If you make a natural beef or chicken stock for your soup it can take quite a long time. However, if you use my dashi stock, it tastes better , is healthier and is much faster.  This recipe takes me about 15 minutes. Put in lots of vegies in to boost your vitamins! ! AND…tonight’s dinner tasted better than a similar one I ate at a restaurant the other day.

【Ingredients (to make 4 servings)】

for the soup

*1 satchel SAORI Premium Japanese Dashi Stock.

*600ml water

*1 &  1/2 tbsp fish sauce

*dried rice noodles – 350g

*100g beef -thinly sliced

* 1 knob garlic

* 1 tbsp sesame oil

*3 bok choy – cut into 3 pieces

*1/2 carrot – shredded

*1 tsp sea salt

*1 tbsp brown sugar

for topping

*25g bean sprouts

*Chinese chives – just a few

*pepper to taste

* 1 tbsp sesame oil

for garnish (optional)

*a few mint leaves

*1/2 cup coriander

*red chilli flakes

【100 % natural Vietnamese noodles “beef pho” recipe 】

3: meanwhile, stir fry  been sprouts and chives in sesame oil for  2-3 minutes.

4: boil rice noodles (follow the packet instructions)

5: when the noodles are cooked, serve in a bowl, pour on the soup and then put the topping on top. Garnish with mint, coriander and chilli (optional)
