This “Japanese porridge” is a great recipe for these days of recent crazy weather. When the temperature goes up and down、your body (including your intestines) can get tired & stressed very easily.
This menu is super easy to digest (and of course it is yum!) and makes your body lovely and warm. I always eat it when my stomach feels a bit strange or even when I have a hangover!!
【Ingredients – serves 2】
*1 cup cooked sushi / koshi rice
*2 eggs – mix well
*100g spinach – cut into 5cm lengths
- garnish with SAORI YUZU SPICE
- top with ham, nori seaweed sheet strips, parsley, coriander etc
【Spinach & egg Japanese rice porridge (zosui) recipe 】ほうれん草と卵雑炊
1:put hot water in a pot, cut open 1 satchel SAORI Premium Japanese Dashi Stock and pour it in.
2: add rice and spinach to the pot and cook on a medium heat for 10-15 minutes (until rice is soft). Then pour eggs in and mix well.
3: flavour with SAORI Tsuyu Sauce – add salt and pepper to taste.
4: you can top with ham, nori, salads etc. Sprinkle on a little SAORI YUZU SPICE for extra ZING!
